represented, after making an allowance for the
usual contingencies, the respondent's loss of support down to the time of the expected retirement of the deceased at the age of 65. In arriving at this figure, his Honour relied upon acturial evidence which used a discount rate of 6 per cent per annum. There 1s no cross-appeal or notice of contention and no challenge was made by either party to his Honour's approach in this respect.
