amended Television Program Standards effective, in each case, from 1 July, 1984. The Determination was publicly released on 2 April 1984 together with a supporting document setting out the
Tribunal's reasons.

In these proceedings for review, under s.5 of the Administrative Decisions (Judicial Review) Act, 1977, 15 commercial television licensees challenge the validity in law of some of the provisions of the Children's Television Standards, namely the paragraphs identified in the documents as CTS 3(2)(b), CTS 8, CTS 9(2), CTS 9(3), CTS 10, CTS 13(1), CTS 13(4), CTS 13(5) and CTS 33.
