THE COURT: This 1s an appeal froma decision of a Deputy
President of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal raising a question of law in respect of the interpretation of the
expression "approved interest" in the Home Deposit Assistance Act ' 1982 ("the Act").
The facts were not in dispute. On 21 November 1980
Roger John Townsend, the firstnamed respondent, his sister and two brothers became registered proprietors as tenants in common
