REASONS FOR JUDGMENT
On 17 June 1986, the Family Court of Australia (Nygh J.) in proceedings brought by the applicant, Linda Mary Nemeth, against her husband, Ferdinand Nemeth, made, amongst others, the
following orders:
"1. That within three (3) months of this date the husband pay to the wife the sum of four hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($450,000.00) by way of settlement of property and that in default of such payment within such period such sum carry interest in accordance with Order 40 Rule 1 of the Family Law Rules.
