He is 48 years old and is married with five children. He arrived in Australia in September 1995 on a visitor's visa. In October 1995 he lodged an application for a protection visa with the Department of Immigration and Ethnic Affairs. The application was refused in November 1995. An application for review by the Refugee Review Tribunal was dismissed on 13 June 1996. The applicant seeks to review the Tribunal's decision in this Court.
