REASONS FOR JUDGMENT 1 This is an appeal from a judgment of Federal Magistrate McInnis of 27 July 2006 dismissing an application for judicial review of a decision of the Migration Review Tribunal ('the Tribunal') of 5 January 2006. The Tribunal had affirmed a decision of a delegate of the Minister for Immigration and Multicultural Affairs made on 31 May 2004 to refuse to grant the appellant a spouse visa pursuant to s 65 of the Migration Act 1958 (Cth) ('the Act').
