An Act relating to the Expenditure in respect of the Allowances of the Members of the Joint Committee of Public Accounts.

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, the Senate, and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia, as follows:—
Short title and citation. 1.—(1.) This Act may be cited as the Public Accounts Committee Act 1965. (2.) The Public Accounts Committee Act 1951, as amended by this Act, may be cited as the Public Accounts Committee Act 1951–1965.
Commencement. 2. This Act shall be deemed to have come into operation on the first day of July, One thousand nine hundred and sixty-five.
Limitation of annual expenditure. 3. Section 23 of the Public Accounts Committee Act 1951 is amended by omitting from sub-sections (1.) and (2.) the words "Five thousand pounds" (wherever occurring) and inserting in their stead the words "Ten thousand pounds".
