An Act to amend the law relating to agriculture, fisheries and forestry, and for related purposes
[Assented to 10 December 1999]
The Parliament of Australia enacts:
1 Short title
This Act may be cited as the Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry Legislation Amendment Act (No. 2) 1999.
2 Commencement
(1) Subject to this section, this Act commences on the day on which it receives the Royal Assent.
(2) Schedule 2 commences on the later of the following days: (a) 1 July 1999; (b) the first day of the first month that begins after the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent.
(3) Items 2 and 3 of Schedule 3 are taken to have commenced on 28 June 1996.
(4) Schedule 6 is taken to have commenced on 1 April 1999.
