The Parliament of Australia enacts:
1 Short title
This Act may be cited as the Customs Tariff Amendment Act (No. 1) 2004.
2 Commencement
This Act is taken to have commenced on 18 September 2002.
3 Schedule(s)
Each Act that is specified in a Schedule to this Act is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this Act has effect according to its terms.

1 Subheading 2207.20.00 of Schedule 3 Repeal the subheading, substitute: 2207.20 ‑Ethyl alcohol and other spirits, denatured, of any strength: 2207.20.10 ‑‑‑Ethanol for use as fuel in an internal combustion engine 5%, and $0.38143/L NZ/PNG/FI/DC: $0.38143/L DCS:4%, and $0.38143/L DCT:5%, and $0.38143/L 2207.20.90 ‑‑‑Other 5% DCS:4% DCT:5%
