The Parliament of Australia enacts:
Part 1—Preliminary
1 Short title This Act may be cited as the Seafarers Rehabilitation and Compensation (Transitional Provisions and Consequential Amendments) Act 1992.
2 Commencement (1) Subject to subsection (2), this Act commences on the day on which Part 2 of the Seafarers Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1992 commences. (2) Subsection 15(2) commences on the day on which Part 2 of the Seafarers Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1992 commences, or on 1 January 1993, whichever is later.
