The Parliament of Australia enacts:
1 Short title
This Act may be cited as the Schools Assistance (Learning Together—Achievement Through Choice and Opportunity) Amendment Act 2006.
2 Commencement
(1) Each provision of this Act specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

Schedule 1, items 23 to 25 The day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent. 6 April 2006 7. Schedule 1, item 26 to 28 At the same time as the provision(s) covered by table item 5. 6 October 2006 8. Schedule 1, items 29 and 30 The day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent. 6 April 2006 9. Schedule 1, item 31 At the same time as the provision(s) covered by table item 5. 6 October 2006 10.
