An Act to amend the law relating to aviation, and for related purposes

The Parliament of Australia enacts:
1 Short title
This Act may be cited as the Civil Aviation Legislation Amendment (Mutual Recognition with New Zealand) Act 2006.
2 Commencement
(1) Each provision of this Act specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

However, the provision(s) do not commence at all if the event mentioned in paragraph (b) does not occur. 4. Schedule 1, items 21 to 28 At the same time as the provision(s) covered by table item 2. 30 March 2007 5. Schedule 1, items 29 to 31 The later of: 30 March 2007 (a) immediately after the commencement of the provision(s) covered by table item 2; and (paragraph (a) applies) (b) immediately after the commencement of item 10 of Schedule 2 to the Civil Aviation Amendment Act 2005. However, the provision(s) do not commence at all if the event mentioned in paragraph (b) does not occur. 6. Schedule 1, items 32 to 40 At the same time as the provision(s) covered by table item 2. 30 March 2007
