1 Short title [see Note 1]
This Act may be cited as the Builders Labourers' Federation (Cancellation of Registration—Consequential Provisions) Act 1986.
2 Commencement [see Note 1]
This Act shall come into operation immediately after the Builders Labourers' Federation (Cancellation of Registration) Act 1986 comes into operation.
3 Interpretation
In this Act, unless the contrary intention appears:
award means: (a) an award made under, or a certified agreement that is taken to be an award made under, the Workplace Relations Act, as in force immediately before the commencement of the Fair Work Act; or (b) an award made under the Conciliation and Arbitration Act, an order made by the Australian Conciliation and Arbitration Commission under that Act or a memorandum certified in accordance with section 28 of that Act.
