The Parliament of Australia enacts:
1 Short title This Act may be cited as the Australian Research Council Amendment Act (No. 1) 2011.
2 Commencement This Act commences on the day this Act receives the Royal Assent.
3 Schedule(s) Each Act that is specified in a Schedule to this Act is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this Act has effect according to its terms.
Schedule 1—Amendments
Australian Research Council Act 2001
1 At the end of subsection 48(2) Add: ; (j) the financial year starting on 1 July 2013.
2 Paragraphs 49(k), (l) and (m) Repeal the paragraphs, substitute: (k) for the financial year starting on 1 July 2010—$708,732,000; and (l) for the financial year starting on 1 July 2011—$783,507,000; and (m) for the financial year starting on 1 July 2012—$817,886,000; and (n) for the financial year starting on 1 July 2013—$795,613,000.
