1 Short title [see Note 1] This Act may be cited as the Telecommunications Legislation Amendment (National Broadband Network Measures—Access Arrangements) Act 2011.
2 Commencement (1) Each provision of this Act specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

Schedule 1, Part 1 The latest of: 13 April 2011 (a) the start of the day after this Act receives the Royal Assent; and (paragraph (b) applies) (b) immediately after the commencement of section 3 of the National Broadband Network Companies Act 2011; and (c) immediately after the commencement of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Telecommunications Legislation Amendment (Competition and Consumer Safeguards) Act 2010. However, the provision(s) do not commence at all unless both of the events mentioned in paragraphs (b) and (c) occur. 3. Schedule 1, Part 2 The latest of: 13 April 2011 (a) the start of the day after this Act receives the Royal Assent; and (paragraph (b) applies) (b) immediately after the commencement of section 3 of the National Broadband Network Companies Act 2011; and (c) immediately after the commencement of Part 7 of Schedule 1 to the Telecommunications Legislation Amendment (Competition and Consumer Safeguards) Act 2010. However, the provision(s) do not commence at all unless both of the events mentioned in paragraphs (b) and (c) occur. 4. Schedule 1, Part 3 A single day to be fixed by Proclamation. 12 April 2012 However, if any of the provision(s) do not commence within the period of 12 months beginning on the day this Act receives the Royal Assent, they commence on the day after the end of that period. 5. Schedule 1, Part 4 The day after the end of the period of 60 days beginning on the day this Act receives the Royal Assent. 11 June 2011
