Parliamentary Service Amendment Act 2013 No. 4, 2013
An Act to amend the Parliamentary Service Act 1999, and for related purposes

The Parliament of Australia enacts:
1 Short title This Act may be cited as the Parliamentary Service Amendment Act 2013.
2 Commencement (1) Each provision of this Act specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

Schedule 1, Parts 1 to 11 The later of: 1 July 2013 (a) the start of the 28th day after this Act receives the Royal Assent; and (paragraph (b) applies) (b) immediately after the commencement of Schedule 1 to the Public Service Amendment Act 2013. However, the provision(s) do not commence at all if the event mentioned in paragraph (b) does not occur. 3. Schedule 1, Part 12 The day this Act receives the Royal Assent. 1 March 2013 4. Schedule 1, item 68 The day this Act receives the Royal Assent. 1 March 2013 5. Schedule 1, items 69 to 92 The later of: 1 July 2013 (a) the start of the 28th day after this Act receives the Royal Assent; and (paragraph (b) applies) (b) immediately after the commencement of Schedule 1 to the Public Service Amendment Act 2013. However, the provision(s) do not commence at all if the event mentioned in paragraph (b) does not occur. 6. Schedule 2, Parts 1 to 12 The later of: 1 July 2013 (a) the start of the 28th day after this Act receives the Royal Assent; and (paragraph (b) applies) (b) immediately after the commencement of Schedule 1 to the Public Service Amendment Act 2013. However, the provision(s) do not commence at all if the event mentioned in paragraph (b) does not occur. 7. Schedule 2, Part 13 The day this Act receives the Royal Assent. 1 March 2013
