An Act to amend the Australian Research Council Act 2001, and for related purposes

The Parliament of Australia enacts:
1 Short title This Act may be cited as the Australian Research Council Amendment Act 2014.
2 Commencement This Act commences on the day after this Act receives the Royal Assent.
3 Schedule(s) Each Act that is specified in a Schedule to this Act is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this Act has effect according to its terms.
Schedule 1—Amendments
Australian Research Council Act 2001
1 At the end of subsection 48(2) Add: ; (m) the financial year starting on 1 July 2016.
2 Paragraphs 49(n), (o) and (p) Repeal the paragraphs, substitute: (n) for the financial year starting on 1 July 2013—$883,959,000; and (o) for the financial year starting on 1 July 2014—$853,110,000; and (p) for the financial year starting on 1 July 2015—$783,253,000; and (q) for the financial year starting on 1 July 2016—$716,205,000.
