The Parliament of Australia enacts:
1 Short title This Act may be cited as the Defence Trade Controls Amendment Act 2015.
2 Commencement (1) Each provision of this Act specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

Schedule 1, items 30 to 44 Immediately after the commencement of section 14 of the Defence Trade Controls Act 2012. 2 April 2016 6. Schedule 1, items 45 to 49 The later of: 16 May 2015 (a) the start of the day after this Act receives the Royal Assent; and (paragraph (b) applies) (b) immediately after the commencement of section 16 of the Defence Trade Controls Act 2012. 7. Schedule 1, items 50 and 51 The later of: 16 May 2015 (a) the start of the day after this Act receives the Royal Assent; and (paragraph (b) applies) (b) immediately after the commencement of section 20 of the Defence Trade Controls Act 2012. 8. Schedule 1, items 52 to 77 The day this Act receives the Royal Assent. 2 April 2015
