An Act to amend the Australian Immunisation Register Act 2015 and to deal with consequential and transitional matters arising from the enactment and amendment of that Act, and for related purposes

The Parliament of Australia enacts:
1 Short title This Act may be cited as the Australian Immunisation Register (Consequential and Transitional Provisions) Act 2015.
2 Commencement (1) Each provision of this Act specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

Sections 1 to 3 and anything in this Act not elsewhere covered by this table The day this Act receives the Royal Assent. 12 November 2015 2. Schedule 1 At the same time as the Australian Immunisation Register Act 2015 commences. 1 January 2016 However, if that Act does not commence, the provisions do not commence at all. 3. Schedule 2 The earlier of: 30 September 2016 (a) a single day to be fixed by Proclamation; and (F2016N00018) (b) the day after the end of the period of 12 months beginning on the day this Act receives the Royal Assent. (paragraph (a) applies) However, if the Australian Immunisation Register Act 2015 does not commence, the provisions do not commence at all. 4. Schedule 3 1 January 2017. 1 January 2017 However, if the Australian Immunisation Register Act 2015 does not commence, the provisions do not commence at all.
