An Act to confer on the Magistrate's Court, jurisdiction under the Fugitive Offenders Act 1881 of the United Kingdom
Short title
1. This Act may be cited as the Fugitive Offenders (Jurisdiction) Act 1923.
Court of Petty Sessions to have jurisdiction
2. The jurisdiction under Part 1, of the Fugitive Offenders Act 1881 of the United Kingdom (44 and 45, Vic C. 69) to hear a case and commit a fugitive to prison to await his return shall be exercised in Norfolk Island by the Court of Petty Sessions. _______________________________________________________________________
