An Act to amend the Income Tax (Managed Investment Trust Withholding Tax) Act 2008

The Parliament of Australia enacts:

1 Short title This Act is the Income Tax (Managed Investment Trust Withholding Tax) Amendment Act 2019.

2 Commencement (1) Each provision of this Act specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

The whole of this Act At the same time as Schedule 1 to the Treasury Laws Amendment (Making Sure Foreign Investors Pay Their Fair Share of Tax in Australia and Other Measures) Act 2019 commences. 1 July 2019 However, the provisions do not commence at all if that Schedule does not commence.
