Pounds Regulations _______________________________________________________________________
Short title 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Pounds Regulations.
Principal Act 1A. In these Regulations, "Act" means the Pounds Act 1934.
Persons impounding stock 2. Any person impounding any stock in a pound shall give notice to the poundkeeper thereof in accordance with Form 1 in the Schedule.
Notice of impounding of stock 3. A notice of the impounding of any stock not claimed by the owner or by some person on his behalf within 24 hours after being impounded shall be posted at the pound and on or near to the Court House, Norfolk Island, by the poundkeeper in accordance with Form 2 in the Schedule.
Pound Book 5. The poundkeeper shall keep a Pound Book in accordance with Form 3 in the Schedule and shall make all entries therein without delay. He shall pay all fees received and render a monthly return thereof to the Accountant, Norfolk Island Administration.
