An Act to amend the law relating to social security, and for related purposes
[Assented to 30 September 2022]
The Parliament of Australia enacts:
1 Short title This Act is the Social Security (Administration) Amendment (Repeal of Cashless Debit Card and Other Measures) Act 2022.
2 Commencement (1) Each provision of this Act specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

Schedule 1, Part 1A Immediately after the commencement of the provisions covered by table item 2. 1 October 2022 2B. Schedule 1, Part 1B Immediately after the commencement of the provisions covered by table item 2. 1 October 2022 3. Schedule 1, Part 2 A single day to be fixed by Proclamation. 30 March 2023 However, if the provisions do not commence within the period of 6 months beginning on the day this Act receives the Royal Assent, they commence on the day after the end of that period. 4. Schedules 2 and 2A The day after this Act receives the Royal Assent. 1 October 2022
