The Parliament of Australia enacts:
1 Short title This Act is the Fair Work Amendment (Paid Family and Domestic Violence Leave) Act 2022.
2 Commencement (1) Each provision of this Act specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

Sections 1 to 4 and anything in this Act not elsewhere covered by this table The day this Act receives the Royal Assent. 9 November 2022 2. Schedule 1 1 February 2023. 1 February 2023 3. Schedule 2 The day the ILO Convention (No. 190) concerning Violence and Harassment, done at Geneva on 21 June 2019, comes into force for Australia. 9 June 2024 However, the provisions do not commence at all if the Convention does not come into force for Australia on or before 1 February 2025. (F2023N00575) The Minister must announce, by notifiable instrument, the day the Convention comes into force for Australia, if that day is on or before 1 February 2025.
