Transfer of Prisoners Regulations
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and in pursuance of section 4 of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901, hereby make the following Regulations under the Transfer of Prisoners Act 1983.

PART I—PRELIMINARY
Citation 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Transfer of Prisoners Regulations.
Interpretation 2. (1) In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears, "the Act" means the Transfer of Prisoners Act 1983. (2) In these Regulations, a reference to a form by number is a reference to the form so numbered in the Schedule. (3) A form in the Schedule that contains any directions for its completion shall be completed in accordance with those directions.
