International Plant Genetic Resources Institute (Privileges and Immunities) Regulations 1998
I, WILLIAM PATRICK DEANE, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the International Organisations (Privileges and Immunities) Act 1963.

Name of regulations
1. These Regulations are the International Plant Genetic Resources Institute (Privileges and Immunities) Regulations 1998.
Commencement
2. These Regulations commence on gazettal.
Definition
3. In these Regulations: International Plant Genetic Resources Institute means the organisation of that name provided for by the Agreement on the Establishment of the International Plant Genetic Resources Institute done at Rome on 9 October 1991.
Legal capacity and personality
4. The International Plant Genetic Resources Institute: (a) is a body corporate with perpetual succession; and (b) is capable, in its corporate name: (i) of entering into contracts; and (ii) of acquiring, holding and disposing of real and personal property; and (iii) of suing and being sued.
