1 Name of Regulations
These Regulations are the Extradition (Lebanon) Regulations 2003.
2 Commencement
These Regulations commence on gazettal.
3 Definition
In these Regulations: Act means the Extradition Act 1988.
4 Declaration that Lebanon is an extradition country
Lebanon is declared to be an extradition country.
5 Application of the Act in relation to Lebanon
For the purposes of the application of the Act in relation to Lebanon and relying on paragraph 11 (1) (b) and subsection 11 (2) of the Act, paragraph 17 (2) (a) of the Act is modified by omitting '45 days' and substituting '60 days'.
