COMMUNITY AND OPEN NARROWCASTING RADIO LICENCE AREA PLAN TORRES STRAIT (Radio) JULY 1996 LICENCE AREA PLAN - TORRES STRAIT DETERMINATION The Australian Broadcasting Authority hereby makes this plan for community and open narrowcasting radio broadcasting services in the Torres Strait area of Queensland, under section 26(1) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992. Twenty community radio broadcasting services and one open narrowcasting radio broadcasting service are to be available in the Torres Strait area described at Attachment 1.1 to this determination with the use of the broadcasting services bands. The characteristics, including technical specifications, of the services that are to be available in the area described at Attachments (1 - 20).1 are set out in the Schedule and Attachments 1.2 - 1.3 and (2 - 20).2 to this Determination.
