Veterans' Entitlements (Continuous Full-time Service - Operation Falconer) Determination

I, DE-ANNE KELLY, Minister for Veterans' Affairs, pursuant to subsection 33(3) of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901 and paragraph 5R(1)(a) of the Veterans' Entitlements Act 1986 (the Act):
(a) revoke the instrument entitled "Continuous full-time service determination" and in respect of official war artists and official war photographers on Operation Falconer, made by Danna Vale (former Minister for Veterans' Affairs) on 10 April 2003; and
(b) determine that the Act applies to, and in relation to, a person included in the class of persons who are appointed as official war artists or official war photographers and who provide services as war artists or war photographers in support of Operation Falconer on or after 13 April 2003, as if that person was, while rendering such service, a member of the Defence Force who was rendering continuous full-time service.
