AD/B767/167 Amdt 3 - Centre/Auxiliary Fuel Tank Override/Jettison Fuel Pumps (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive (AD) AD/B767/167 Amdt 2 and issues the following AD under subregulation 39.001(1) of CASR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.

Boeing 767 Series Aeroplanes AD/B767/167 Amdt 3 Centre/Auxiliary Fuel Tank 13/2005 Override/Jettison Fuel Pumps

Applicability: Boeing 767-200, -300 and -300F series aeroplanes. Requirement: Revise the Limitation Section of the Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM), replace override fuel pumps, carry out repetitive inspections of override/jettison fuel pumps and install modified override and override/jettison fuel pumps in accordance with the requirements of FAA AD 2001-15-08, Amdt 39-12342.

Terminating Actions.

Accomplishment of the requirements of paragraph (e) of FAA AD 2001-15-08 constitutes terminating action for the requirements of AD/B767/77 Amdt 2 (refer FAA AD 94-11-05, amendment 39-8921 dated 31 May 1994).

Accomplishment of the requirements of paragraph (i) of FAA AD 2001-15-08 constitutes terminating action for:

The requirements of paragraphs (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (g), and (h) of FAA AD 2001-15-08, and the requirements of AD/B767/77 (refer FAA AD 94-11-05, amendment 39-8921 dated 31 May 1994); and
