SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below issues the following Airworthiness Directive (AD) under subregulation 39.1 (1) of CASR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.
Agusta A119 Series Helicopters
AD/A119/7 Transmission Support Fittings Attach Bolts 6/2004

Applicability: Model A119 helicopters, with serial numbers up to and including 14037, except serial number 14036.
1. Accomplish the requirements of Part I of Agusta Technical Bulletin No. 119-8, dated 7 April 2004.
2. Accomplish the requirements of Part II of Agusta Technical Bulletin No. 119-8.
Note: ENAC AD 2004-108 refers.
Compliance: 1. Within 5 flight hours after 21 April 2004.
2. Within 25 flight hours after 21 April 2004, but not later than 30 September 2004. This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 21 April 2004.
Background: Reports were received of fractured bolts that secure the transmission support fittings to the structure on two in-service helicopters. In both cases, the fracture was due to fatigue caused by insufficient bolt torque.
