Applicability: Serial Numbers 002 to 008, 010 to 014, 016 to 078, 080 to 104, and 106 and 107, without Airbus Industrie SB A320-53-1023 Rev.7 incorporated.
Requirement: Action in accordance with Airbus Industrie SB A320-53-1024 Rev. 2.

Note 2. For aircraft with Airbus Industrie SB A320-53-1025 Rev. 6 or earlier Revisions incorporated, refer to AD/A320/67.
Compliance: Prior to attaining 12 000 flights; thereafter at the intervals specified in the Requirement Document until modified, and this amendment is effective from 23 May 1996.
Background: During the full scale fatigue test, cracking was experienced in the outer floor beams, box beams, and other associated structure.
Amendment 1 provides relief for operators that have already incorporated SB A320-53-1023 at issues before Revision 3.
Amendment 2 amends the applicability and provides terminating action through Airbus Industrie SB A320-53-1023 Rev. 7.
The original issue of this AD became effective on 27 April 1995. Amendment 1 of this AD became effective on 20 July 1995.
