AMD Falcon 50 and 900 Series Aeroplanes
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below issues the following Airworthiness Directive (AD) under subregulation 39.1 (1) of CAR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.
AD/AMD 50/21 Emergency Procedure - Rapid Depressurisation
Applicability: All Mystère Falcon 50 and Mystère Falcon 900 aeroplanes.

Requirement: 1. Amend the Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM), Section 2 - Emergency Procedures, by inserting the following:
Rapid Cabin Depressurisation
Crew oxygen masks..........................100% - Donned
Microphone selector..........................MASK
FASTEN BELTS and no smoking light..........On
Oxygen controller and passenger masks..........OVERRIDE - Donned
Emergency descent..........................Initiated
The AFM amendment may be accomplished by inserting a copy of this Directive in the AFM.
2. Remove the Requirement 1 AFM amendment.

Compliance: For Requirement 1 - 22 January 2001.
For Requirement 2 - When the following AFM amendments/changes are incorporated:
Mystère Falcon 50 - AFM DTM 803/813 Change No 32 page 2.10.2. Mystère Falcon 900 - AFM DTM 20102/20103 Temporary Change No 84.
This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 19 January 2001.

SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES
Background: Following an incident involving a similar type of aeroplane, the DGAC identified the lack of rapid cabin depressurisation emergency procedures in the AFMs.
This Directive provides interim AFM emergency procedures for rapid cabin depressurisation which may be removed when AFM changes are incorporated.
