AD/AMD 50/7 Amdt 1
Applicability: Falcon 900 aircraft.
Nose Gear Shock Absorber 11/94
Requirement: Action in accordance with Dassault Aviation Alert Service Bulletin F900-150.
Note: DGAC AD 94-098-014(B)R1 refers.
Compliance: Unless already accomplished, prior to 13 November 1994.
Background: The manufacturer had defined a procedure to check the charge of the low pressure chamber of the nose gear shock absorber. This action was required to prevent the possibility of a gear retraction when the nose gear is not fully extended.
Amendment 1 is issued in response to a revision of the relevant DGAC AD which requires a modification that is designed to interrupt retraction of the landing gear when the NLG shock absorber is not fully extended.
