AD/AS 355/44 Engine Fire Detection 11/93 TX
Applicability: AS 355 series helicopters versions E, F, F1, F2 and N.
Requirement: Action in accordance with Eurocopter France Telex Service 26.03 (AS 355 versions E, F, F1 and F2 with Allison Engines) or Telex Service 26.04 (AS 355 version N).
Note: DGAC AD 93-137-049(B) dated 18 August 1993 refers.
Compliance: Within 25 flying hours after 30 August 1993.
Background: The engine fire detection circuits may be incorrectly wired at the detector terminals, this could affect the proper operation of the fire detection system. Compliance with Directive will rectify the incorrect wiring and ensure the fire detection system operates properly.
