SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below issues the following Airworthiness Directive (AD) under subregulation 39.1 (1) of CASR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.

AD/AS 355/79 Hydraulic System - Hydraulic Cut Off Function

Applicability: AS 355 E helicopters, pre Modification 073263.
Requirement: Modify the electrical wiring, in accordance with paragraphs 2.A., 2.B. and 2.C. of Eurocopter AS 355 Alert Service Bulletin No. 29.00.04. dated 14 April 2004.

Compliance: Before 31 December 2004.s
This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 2 September 2004.
Background: The actions required by this Directive are designed to eliminate the possibility of a load unbalance in the flight controls. This unbalance may occur after the loss of hydraulic assistance following a hydraulic failure.
