Applicability: All Boeing 727-200.
Requirement: Action in accordance with Boeing Alert SB 727-53A0203 Rev 1.
Note: FAA AD 89-23-13 Amendment 39-6388 refers.
Compliance: Prior to 5 December 1989, unless previously accomplished within the last 6 months, and thereafter at intervals not exceeding 12 calendar months until preventive modification is carried out.
Background: Country of origin AD. Overseas aircraft found to have cracks 1200 mm long. Initial inspection has found cracks on one local aircraft. Amendment 1 references Revision 1 to the Requirement document. This requires repeat inspections until preventive modification is carried out, deletes specific line numbers and quotes FAA AD.
