Applicability: Model 727-100 and -100C series.
Requirement: Action in accordance with the technical requirements of FAA AD 92-19-10 Amdt 39-8368.
Note: Boeing SB 727-53-0085 Revision 3 and Revision 4 refer.
Compliance: As specified in the Requirement Document. The compliance of the previous issue of this Directive remains unchanged. This Amendment is effective from 4 February 1993.
Background: This Directive was prompted by reports to the FAA of corrosion in the cold bonded skin, doubler and triplets in the skin panels beneath the aft cargo compartment floor. Amendment 1 is issued in response to a new FAA AD which expands the applicability to include all Model 727-100 and -100C aircraft.
