Applicability: Model 727 series, listed in Boeing SB 27-53-0126 Revision 6.
Requirement: Action IAW the technical requirements of FAA AD 92-06-14 Amdt 39-8194.
Note: Boeing SB 727-53-0196 and SB 727-53-0126 Revision 6 refer.
Compliance: As specified in the Requirement Document with a revised effective date of 25 June 1992.
Background: The FAA has received reports of cracks and web separations of the BS 950 side fitting. The actions specified in this directive are intended to prevent failure of the fitting and subsequent depressurisation of the aircraft.
