Requirement: Action IAW the technical requirements of FAA AD 91-24-11 Revision 1.
Note: Boeing SB 727-53-0194 refers.
Compliance: As specified in the Requirement Document with a revised effective date of 10 December 1992.
Background: The FAA had received reports of cracking and web separation of the BS 870 terminal fitting. This Directive requires an inspection for cracking and web separation of the terminal fitting, cold working certain fastener holes, and repair or replacement of the fitting, if necessary.
