Applicability: 737 Aircraft line position 1 through 1587.
Requirement: Action in accordance with Boeing SB 737-52A1105 Rev. 2.
Note: FAA AD 89-04-03 refers.
Compliance: Prior to 31 July 1990.
Background: Country of origin AD. Improper use of sealants on blowout panels in the control (cockpit) cabin door could preclude proper operation of blowout panels if a pressure differential greater than 1.5 P.S.I occurred between passenger cabin and control cabin. As a result damage to control cabin floor might occur, with possible interference of control cables.
