AD/B737/53 Flight Attendant Seats 3/91
Applicability: Model 737-300, 737-400 and 737-500 series; equipped with Transaero p/n 91466 series double flight attendant seats.
Requirement: Action in accordance with the technical requirements of FAA AD 90-26-05 Amdt 39- 6832.
Note: Transaero SB 176 refers.
Compliance: As specified in the Requirement Document with revised effective date of 21 March 1991.
Background: There have been reported instances of bent, fractured, broken, cracked or otherwise damaged seat bottoms of certain double flight attendant seats manufactured by Transaero. These conditions were apparently caused by the incorrect manufacture o these seats.
