COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA (Civil Aviation Regulations 1998), PART 39 - 105 CIVIL AVIATION SAFETY AUTHORITY SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES Boeing 737 Series Aeroplanes AD/B737/69 Transaero Single Flight Attendant Seat Pan 10/92 Applicability: Model 737-300, 737-400, and 737-500 series aircraft, equipped with Transaero P/N 91465 series single flight attendant seats identified in Transaero SB 192 Revision C. Requirement: 1. (a) Inspect the front edge of the affected seat pans for areas of abnormal flexibility in accordance with paragraph C. of Transaero SB 192 Revision C. (b) If no damage is detected, repeat the inspection. (c) If damage is detected, accomplish either: (i) Install a placard stating that the damaged seat is not to be occupied; or (ii) Replace the seat pan with a serviceable seat pan of the same part number; and (iii) Inspect in accordance with Requirement 1.(a) of this Directive. 2. Modify all single flight attendant seat pans in accordance with Transaero SB 192 Revision C. Note 1. Compliance with Requirement 2 of this Directive constitutes terminating action for the inspections specified in Requirement 1 of this Directive. Note 2. FAA AD 92-08-11 Amdt 39-8222 refers. Compliance: 1. (a) Prior to 17 November 1992. (b) At intervals not to exceed 375 hours time in service. (c) (i) and (c)(ii) Prior to further flight. (iii) At intervals not to exceed 375 hours time in service. 2. Prior to 17 March 1994. Background: The FAA has received in- service reports of damaged seat pans.
