AD/B747/125 Evacuation Slide/Raft Regulator 7/94
Applicability: Model 747-100, -200, -300 series aircraft, equipped with BFGoodrich evacuation slides/rafts as listed in BFGoodrich Service Bulletin 4A3221-25-250, and have regulator part number 4A3194-1, -2, or -3 installed.
Requirement: Modify affected BFGoodrich evacuation slide/raft regulators in accordance with BFGoodrich Service Bulletin 4A3221-25-250.
Note: FAA AD 93-20-04 Amdt 39-8712 refers.
Compliance: Prior to 26 November 1996.
Background: The FAA received reports that regulators installed on the affected aircraft, are similar in design to those on other transport category aircraft that had caused certain evacuation slide/rafts to fail to inflate immediately upon deployment.
