SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES
Boeing 747 Series Aeroplanes
AD/B747/79
Amdt 2
Structural Modification/Inspection Program 10/95
Applicability: Boeing B747 series aircraft listed in Boeing Document D6-35999 Revision E, Sections 3 and 4 and Appendices A, B, C and D.
Requirement: 1. Modify in accordance with Boeing Document D6-35999 Revision E, Section 3 and Appendices A, B and D.
2. Inspect in accordance with Boeing Document D6-35999 Revision E, Section 4 and Appendices B and C.
Note 1: FAA AD 90-06-06 refers to the original issue of Boeing Document D6-35999 and mandates modification requirements. FAA AD 92-27-04 refers to D6-35999 Revision C and mandates the inspection requirements of Section 4.
Note 2: The modifications of Requirement 1 do not terminate the inspection requirements of any other AD unless that AD specifies that such modification cancels those inspection requirements.
Compliance: In accordance with Boeing Document D6-35999 Revision E, with a revised effective date of 14 September 1995 for the changes introduced by this Amendment.
Background: The FAA sponsored Airworthiness Assurance Working Group was tasked with identifying and implementing procedures to ensure the continuing airworthiness of high time aircraft. This AD requires modifications and inspections in lieu of those inspections which are not considered to be fully effective.
This Amendment references Boeing Document D6-35999 Revision E.
