Fuel Quantity System - Inspection 12/83
Applicability: All models equipped with FQIS processor P/N. S345T002-41. Document: Boeing Alert Service Bulletin 767-28A5 Rev. 2. Note: FAA AD 83-15-05 AMDT. 39-4696 refers.
Compliance: Unless already accomplished, initial inspection on or before 31st December 1983. Subsequent inspections as per requirement document.
Note: Compliance with the original issue of this directive does not constitute compliance with this AD/B767/1 AMDT 1.
Background: To prevent loss of engine power due to fuel exhaustion resulting from erroneous fuel quantity indication. This directive is raised in issue to include the latest revision status of Boeing S.B. 767-28A5 which modifies certain aspects of the inspection procedure.
