Applicability: All model 767 on which Boeing SB 767-25-0036 has been accomplished. Requirement: Action in accordance with Boeing Alert SB 767-25A0109 Revision 2. Note: FAA AD 89-16-11 refers.
Compliance: Unless previously accomplished, prior to 31 March 1991.
Background: Country of origin AD. Interference between the aft passenger door upper liner track pivot bolt and the escape slide packboard, if not corrected, could result in failure of the escape slide to properly deploy, and of the door to fully open, during emergency evacuation.
