COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA (Civil Aviation Regulations 1998), PART 39 - 105 CIVIL AVIATION SAFETY AUTHORITY SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES
Boeing 767 Series Aeroplanes
AD/B767/36 Amdt 1
High Lift System 4/94
Applicability: All model 767 series aeroplanes with line position 001 through 402 inclusive. Requirement: Action in accordance with Boeing SB 767-27A0094 Revision 4. Note: FAA AD 93-19-05 amdt 39-8703 supersedes FAA AD 89-26-04 amdt 39-6423.
Compliance: As specified in the requirement document.
Background: A report of an uncommanded slat extension during cruise, and several instances of an inoperative trailing edge flap by-pass motor have prompted the issue of this Airworthiness Directive; which requires regular inspections of the LE slat shutoff valve, the LE slat long term shutoff control, the inboard and outboard LE slat drive mechanical rigging and the TE flap by-pass valve motor.
This revision raised in sequence to specify the aircraft S/N range, to amend the FAA AD reference and to update the requirement document reference.
