Applicability: 767-200, -200ER, -300 & -300ER series listed in the Requirement Document. Requirement: Action IAW Boeing Alert SB 767-27A0118 Revision 1 dated 9 January 1992. Note: FAA AD 92-16-16 Amdt 39-8326 refers.
Compliance: Prior to 1 January 1993.
Background: This Directive is issued to ensure that an incorrect FSPM is not installed, the installation of an incorrect module can cause a loss of takeoff configuration and landing configuration warnings or lead to damage to the FSPM connector. The FAA compliance date has been extended by approximately two months for Australian registered aircraft.
