Applicability: All Boeing 767 series aircraft equipped with Pratt and Whitney PW4000 series engines. Requirement: Action in accordance with the technical requirements of FAA AD 94-12-10. Compliance: Unless previously accomplished, as specified in the Requirement Document, effective 15 September 1994.
Background: This AD is issued to ensure the integrity of the fail safe features of the thrust reverser system to prevent inadvertent deployment of a thrust reverser in flight.
